Writing and Listening to English

In this page I will give you the instructions about the different topics and activities you will have to deal with.
The first topic is about writing; The Language of Chat. You will have the information about this topic in the following web pages, these are the links:

After reading the information you will have to send e-mails between your classmates using the different  abbrevations, emoticons and so on.


The second topic is American and British pronunciation. To work with this topic you have a video about Amerian Pronunciation. The video is about Recycling in Los Angeles. You will have to download the iTunes programme, and to click on the podcast section. Then you will have to write this in order to find the video: "Greenovate: Los Angeles (Planet Green Podcast).
After watching the video, you will have to write an article about the differences between American and British pronunciation. The third topic is Spanglish, a new way of speaking. Students will have to look for information about it and then they will have to answer different questions that will be in the wiki. Students will have to give their different opinions about it and they will also contribute more information, news, articles and other materials or information that they find. Students will have to be registered in pbworks.com to be allowed to work with this wiki.
